Cogizant Genc Next Interview Experience

Eligibility criteria: All students of 2021 Batch having 60% Throughout with up to 2 Year Gap in Education.

Round 1: Round 1 was an Aptitude round that was on the AMCAT. This round contained four sections namely.

  • Quantitative Aptitude -24 questions: 35 minutes
  • Logical Reasoning -25 questions: 35 minutes
  • Code debugging/Automata Fix -7 questions: 20 minutes
  • Essay question (1 question: 15 minutes) .

Note: It was announced that the essay you  wrote on Round 1 can be asked in a Face2face interview.


Note: Based on your performance in the round 1 you are eligible for GenC Next Interview or GenC Interview. 

if you get selected for genc Next then 2nd round will be coding round.

Round 2:
This round consisted of 2 easy and 2 medium questions.
  1. Question on Graph.
  2. Question related to Hashmap.
  3. Given some projects and each project consists of some modules. Each module needs to be completed in one week, but we cannot complete two modules of the same project consecutively. You are given no of weeks ,find maximum no of modules that can be completed. This question can be solved using a priority queue.
  4.  coding question based on operating system scheduling techniques.
People who  completed 3–4 questions were cleared this round.

Round 3 Technical /HR interview:

this round was approximately of 1 hour duration.

6.Interviewer Asked Some Sql queries.
