Interview experience of Newgen 2021 batch

Eligibility Criteria –

⮚ Formal Schooling (Shouldn’t be a pass out of NIOS or any open schooling) ⮚ Gap of maximum 2 years

⮚ No Diploma Holders

Educational Qualification –
⮚ UG/PG: 60% and above
⮚ 10th & 12th CBSE Board: 90% and above

⮚ 10th & 12th Other Boards: 80% and above 

CTC offered-4.25lpa 

ROUND 1:

The First test was Aptitude+Technical test of 100 minutes held on HirePro Newgen own Platform.

Aptitude	25	35 Minutes
English	25	30 Minutes
Technical	25	35 Minutes

Aptitude section contains easy questions like work& time and simple questions of maths etc.

English section contains verbal ability,error detection,synonyms ,antonyms and passages.

Technical section was little bit difficult as it contains questions from semaphores and cpu scheduling algorithms.Also contains questions of programming output type.

ROUND 2:Psycometric test

Those who clear the first test would have a second test of Psychometric  duration 60 Mins on the same day of the test.

Shortlisted candidates would have interviews post that. 

ROUND 3:

It was face to face round also held on hirePro newgens owns platform.This round was easy for me because did not asked difficult questions from me,but for some of my friends interview was of normal level actually it depends from interviewer to interviewer.

Whole Interview Questions of newgen Technical round.

1. Tell me about yourself.
2. Asked me about my latest Projects.
3. Tell me to write the program of swapping of two variables without using third variable.
4. Asked me which BTech subject do you like?
5. I told him c++,java,dbms.
6. Then Interviewer said what about software engineering.Do you have basic knowledge of SDLC.
7. I told him yes sir I know about SDLC, but do not like this subject very much.
8. Asked One SQL query on where clause.
9. The interviewer asked me about my hobbies.
10. what do you know about newgen and why do you want to join this company.
11. Asked about the last movie I Watched.
12. what are your Strengths and weakness?

I felt that the interviewer asked most of the Hr questions from me.

ROUND 4:

This round was the HR round. This round was of 10 minutes only.

1. Tell me about yourself.

2. Tell me more about yourself.

3.What are your Hobbies?

4.Do you have any other offers?I told him yes the hr asked then why do you want to join newgen?

5.Are you willing to relocate?

FINAL VERDICT: Selected.
